What was your most significant insight?
- Kids spell love T.I.M.E
- We are role models to our kids 100% of the time
- Awareness of my own identity to move forward with more techniques to change
- The best practice model for parenting is a fantastic set of guidelines. A lot of times you don’t know what you don’t know. This spells it out. Also my behavioural pattern didn’t support my vision/legacy
- Becoming clear around the vision l wanted to create for my kids
- The fact that we are all very much the same. We have different outlooks, nationalities but we all grapple with the intricacies of parenting with very little information or guidance
What did you love most about this workshop?
- The tools, discussions and the parenting relationship model
- The commitment to legacy.
- Conversations, activities, seeing couples discuss their views, insights with eachother, loved all the activities
- Meeting like-minded parents, sharing and listening and growing
- Self expression and to love every moment (positiveness). Shifting our consciousness to work together
- The awareness it encouraged. the enthusiasm of the facilitators, the authenticity, real people offering real examples
- The vision boarding was the thing that pulled it all together for me emotionally
- It was practical and provided a strong template for us to work with. It required our integrity and honesty which in turn already started a mindset shift
- The space and unrushed time to reflect and the honesty that was created in the room

What will you go home and do differently?
- Reflect on my ways. I now have tools and strategies to become a ‘Conscious Parent’
- Start to celebrate successes, experiences, life alot more
- Make ‘real time’ with my kids
- I will contact my children more often
- Plan a camping trip and be a positive champion for both my kids. Get them to see and experience more of the world
- I will be a better, more focused and conscious parent
- I will reshape my vision of life and family
- I will now act according to my legacy with this as my lighthouse! I know that l will not stray too far wrong!
- Refine my legacy statement and put it up in my house to prompt me
- I will be present, play and overall relax. I understand that everything that requires to be done, will be eventually done. I will observe my reactions to situations and challenges and practice moving away to diffuse it
